Accessibility, family layouts and work facilities can vary by room category. Ask for written confirmation tied to the exact room before paying.
Accessibility and bathroom layout
Wheelchair accessible, step-free access, roll-in shower and walk-in shower are not interchangeable. Ask about door widths, grab bars, shower thresholds and the full route from entrance to room.
Connecting, adjoining and quiet rooms
Connecting rooms have an internal door; adjoining rooms may only be nearby. For quiet rooms, state whether you want distance from elevators, event space and street-facing sides.
Air, smoking and sleep
Request a non-smoking room and ask whether the entire property is smoke-free. If an air purifier matters, ask whether it is built in, supplied on request or unavailable.
Work and longer-stay facilities
Confirm desk size, video-call Wi-Fi needs, laundry method, refrigerator and luggage storage. Do not assume every room supports a long stay.
Pools, gyms and room service
Ask for current pool temperature, children's access, gym hours and late-night dining. A hotel-level amenity can be closed or restricted on your dates.
