A useful hotel quote is more than a number. Before paying, match the property, dates, guest name, room, inclusions, cancellation policy and payment recipient.
Confirm the exact property
Beijing has several Hilton-branded hotels with similar names. Match the full English name, address and stay dates. For airport stays, also match the flight airport code. Keep a screenshot or PDF of the written terms.
Compare like with like
A prepaid room without breakfast is not directly comparable to a flexible room with breakfast. Check the total currency, taxes, service charges, room occupancy, breakfast, cancellation deadline and refund method before deciding which price is better.
Verify before payment
For a concierge-arranged reservation, ask for the details needed to contact the selected hotel directly. Use contact details from the hotel's official website—not only a message forwarded by a seller—and ask the hotel to confirm the guest name, dates and reservation status.
Understand points and benefits
Hilton Honors points, elite-night credit and on-property benefits depend on the rate and booking channel. Do not assume eligibility. Ask for the answer in writing before payment if membership credit matters to you.
Protect your personal information
Share only what is required to prepare the quote. Do not send card details by ordinary email or chat. Check the payment recipient, method, refund terms and currency before transferring funds.
Keep a travel-ready record
Save the hotel name in English and Chinese, address, phone number, booking reference and cancellation terms offline. Reconfirm significant special requests with the hotel because requests are not guarantees unless accepted in writing.
