Beijing is too large for a generic downtown recommendation. Share the addresses that matter, then compare commute direction, room terms and business-stay requirements.
Map every meeting before choosing an area
Use exact addresses for the CBD, China World Trade Center, China Zun, Lufthansa Center, Zhongguancun or Yizhuang. A hotel that suits one business district can create a long cross-city commute to another.
Match the airport to the meeting corridor
PEK is often more practical for eastern Chaoyang, while PKX may suit southern Beijing plans. Flight time alone is not enough; compare the complete airport-to-hotel-to-meeting route.
Ask for a comparable corporate quotation
State the dates, occupancy, breakfast, cancellation terms, tax treatment and invoice needs. Corporate hotel rates are useful only when the complete terms fit your company policy.
Plan delegations and week-long stays
For a business delegation, confirm the rooming list deadline, name-change rules, payment method and whether rooms must be billed together or separately. For a week-long trip, add laundry, workspace and change flexibility to the comparison.
Treat meeting rooms and lounge access as separate requirements
Guest rooms do not automatically include meeting space, executive lounge access or business services. Ask for each requirement in writing and keep hotel accommodation separate from event-space terms.
Room availability, facilities, transport and policy details must be confirmed for the exact hotel, room and travel dates.
